if you get break outs..i highley recommend this if you cant afford proactive. Its 20.00 bucks at k-mart or target or wherever. i'm sure walmart has it too. It clears up your skin in two days..which is also better because proactive took like a month to clear up my skin. proactive does work but this is cheaper & works faster..just saying:)

a few tips to help you get started in your weight- loss.

NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST. sooo many people do. They either dont have time or do it on purpose because they think itll help them cut calories for the day. Bad news-it doesnt help. Instead it slows your metabolism down AND stores more body fat on those lovely hips. Also, eat every 3 hours. It helps to speed your metabolism up. I, on the other hand, took it to the extreme and tried to eat a little something every hour. No not a full meal. Like an apple, something small for every hour between your 5-6 small meals per day. Think of your body as a furnace. To keep burning, a furnace needs wood right? Your body is no different. It needs calories often.

Drink at LEAST HALF of your body weight in water. Seriously. Thats how much you are supposed to drink. take your weight & divide it by 2 whatever that equals is how much you are suppose to drink a day. It will help you clear up your skin and give you energy. If you dont drink enough water your body doesnt know when the next time its going to get it & it shows on the scale..so MAKE SURE YOU'RE GETTING YOUR WATER! :)

Go through your kitchen and throw out ALL processed. fatty, greasy, fried, oily, buttery, sugary, high carb, and junk foods. Rid your kitchen! It makes temptation a lot harder to fall to when you have nothing there to grab thats unhealthy. Instead go buy new groceries-healthy foods. Google healthy recipes and see what you like. Not all health food is dull. I swear.  here's a site to get you started: http://www.snack-girl.com/recipes/

Now make sure you're getting some form of excersize. I have lost 46 lbs so far & i never stepped a foot in a gym. instead i started off just walking a couple miles a day with a friend. friends ALWAYS help motivate you so get a friend to join you & set up a weight in day..like mine & my friends is sunday so we weight in and c who lost and who didnt..so far..this whole year ive lost the most weight. Friends can make it fun & easy & since you guys are doing this together & you defintely want to win it'll help motivate you to lose more.

Right now i'm doing p90x & if you have the money its well worth it. First starting out I found toneitup.com and i didnt have any equipment so some of their videos really helped me untill i was able to get some dumbells. bodyrock.tv is also another good one to do at home. If you dont have time to work out..while ur food is in the microwave cooking.. do some jumping jacks, lunges, squats, run in place..when a commerical comes on get up and some some pushups, sit ups, crunches..anything. MAKE time. even if its a couple mins out of the day..its better to do a few mins than not at all! it'll help give you energy too & if you're working out you wont think of food & search pictures of someone you want to look like.. a model, a fitness model, an actress, a singer, it'll help motivate you also.

Instant Bright Skin – Yogurt Mask

21 Votes
. Yogurt mask is really simple, you can buy them at grocery store, convenient store, and almost anywhere that sells food.
All you have to do is wash your face, apply a not too thick layer onto your face (about 1-2 tablespoon) and let it sit for about 15 – 30mins depending on your skin before washing it off with water. The most important part of yogurt mask is to use regular yogurt that has fat, do not use non-fat yogurt as a mask, the result will not be noticeable or the mask won’t work at all. Personally, I prefer using yogurt that is in cream form, it is easier to apply and no dripping problem. If you can only get the regular form of yogurt, there are 2 ways around the dripping problem. First option: Lick the excess, very yummy! Especially if you use the recipe with a twist. Or, apply a thin layer of yogurt onto your face and then gently press cotton pads on top of the area where you apply yogurt and leave the cotton pads on your face until you are ready to wipe and rinse off the mask. That way, the mask will stay and it won’t drip everywhere. My other personal preference of this mask is using organic french vanilla yogurt to use as my mask because of the pleasant vanilla scent sort of like aromatherapy. After rinsing off the mask, remember to use moisturizer immediately, yogurt mask may leave your face feeling a bit tight afterwards. I recommend using this mask the night before a special event of as a quick pick me up. This is also a great mask to use while traveling because your skin won’t look tired and you have less things to carry in your luggage. Plus, you can get it at the local food store at your destination.
* Remember always to a test patch on your skin before applying it all over the face to see if your skin has allergic reaction.
Yogurt Mask with a Twist!
Here are a few twists that you can add to the original yogurt mask:
1) 1-2 drops of lemon juice and mix it with yogurt before applying, do not use too much because too much citric acid may irritate your face. Citric acid has lightening properties, making your face brighter.
2) 1-2 teaspoon of honey and mix it with yogurt before, honey will calm any inflammation in skin. Even better is to combine both lemon juice and honey =)! Honey alone can also be used alone as a mask to reduce redness.
3) 1 teaspoon of Cane or Brown sugar, if you add cane sugar with yogurt, it sort of became a natural exfoliant

  • 9. Brown-bag it at least once a week

    Chocolate Choices

    Chocolate Bar vs. Hot Cocoa

    Best Bet: Cocoa
Hot chocolate made with nonfat milk and a
tablespoon of sugar has 154 calories and 2 grams of fat per cup, saving you about 80 calories and 11 grams of (mostly saturated) fat compared with a milk chocolate bar -- and it's more satisfying, says Dr. Kulze. The heat forces you to sip slowly, so your brain has time to register the treat. Plus, drinking a milk-based beverage helps you eat less at your next meal, says Barbara Rolls, PhD, a professor of nutritional science at Pennsylvania State University.

    Mallomars vs. Oreos

    Best Bet: Oreos
You'd think that marshmallow would be lighter in calories than cream filling, but nope. The Oreo has 10 percent fewer calories per cookie (53 versus 60). If you snacked on three cookies a day and made this swap, you'd effortlessly drop two pounds in a year.

    Brownie vs. Chocolate Cake

    Best Bet: Cake
Even when frosted, a slice of chocolate cake has about half the calories of a large brownie (235 versus 454). If the brownie has nuts, its calorie count jumps to 519.

    SALT CRAVINGS

    Potato Chips vs. Pita Chips

    Best Bet: Pita chips
When you're dying for something salty and crunchy, potato chips are the first thing that come to mind. But a single ounce (that's just 12 chips!) has 160 calories and 10 grams of fat. Add onion dip and your snack jumps to 212 calories and 15 grams of fat. Instead, slice a four-inch pita into wedges, brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle judiciously with salt, then crisp in a toaster oven. Add hummus, and you'll take in just 167 calories and 7 grams of fat while adding 3 grams of hunger-taming fiber.

    Whopper vs. Big Mac

    Best Bet: Big Mac
Neither is a low-cal option, but when you're surrounded by nothing but drive-throughs, you're better off turning in to a McDonald's. A Big Mac has 560 calories and 30 grams of fat; a Whopper packs 700 calories and 42 fat grams.

    Prime Rib vs. Sirloin

    Best Bet: Sirloin
This cut is known for being exceptionally lean and tender, says Mary Young, RD, executive director of nutrition for the National Cattleman's Beef Association. Plus, it's more flavorful than other lean cuts, such as tenderloin or top round. Three ounces of sirloin has just 156 calories and 5 grams of fat. A similar serving of prime rib has 250 calories and nearly 18 grams of fat. If you still feel a twinge of guilt over not ordering the wild-caught salmon, remember: Red meat is a good source of protein, vitamin B12, niacin, zinc, and iron.

and firm your butt in 2 weeks.Treadmill workout this it will flatten your belly, slim your thighs, and firm your butt in 2 weeks.

    Breakfast

    Pancakes vs. French Toast

    Best Bet: Pancakes
Enjoy Sunday brunch guilt-free: Three pancakes have 259 calories compared with 447 in three slices of French toast. Top either with a tablespoon of butter and a quarter cup of syrup and you add 310 calories. Try thawed frozen unsweetened fruit instead; it has a syrupy consistency but just 19 calories in a quarter cup.

    Fruit Danish vs. Jelly Doughnut

    Best Bet: Doughnut
Standing in Dunkin' Donuts trying to decide? Let a 120-calorie difference make up your mind. The danish has 330 calories and 20 grams of fat; the jelly doughnut has 210 and 8 grams.

    Special Splurges

    Cheesecake vs. Creme Brulee

    Best Bet: Cheesecake
While the two desserts have a similar creamy texture and vanilla flavor, a typical serving of creme brulee has 368 calories and 18 grams of fat compared with 182 calories and 13 fat grams in a two-ounce slice of cheesecake. If you're served a New York-style (read: huge) hunk, share with a friend. And skip the gloppy toppings: a quarter cup of strawberries in heavy syrup tacks on almost 60 calories. At 13 calories, fresh berries are the way to go.

    Wine vs. Margarita

    Best Bet: Wine
Cocktails with sugary mixers are virtual calorie bombs. There are 270 in a four-ounce margarita, 245 in a pina colada and 225 in a daiquiri. Wine has about 100 calories. Calories aren't the only concern, though. "The trouble with alcohol is it produces a 'what-the-hell' attitude," says Rolls. Drinking can lower your resolve to eat smaller portions or make healthy choices. Food slows the rate at which alcohol enters your system, so have your wine with dinner, not before. If you must have an aperitif, try a wine spritzer -- half wine, half sparkling water or seltzer. You'll lower the alcohol content and cut the calories of your drink by half.
You are a living, breathing miracle.
    Yes, YOU!
The more you acknowledge the miracle that you are, you access the fullness of your being. It shifts your energy and focus into real gratitude. As you live in that state of gratitude, you begin to open yourself to another level of possibilities, potential and power.
We are often looking for big miracles in life, whether it is winning the lottery, saving the world, revolutionizing an industry, making millions, or finding your soulmate. When in reality every moment of life is miraculous and precious. Every breath you take involves an interaction and communication of trillions of cells. There are universes dancing inside you. There are literally miracles happening inside your body alone each second of every moment.
What if you couldn’t talk, walk, see or breathe?
Go ahead and take a really deep breath. What a miracle that is! Really feel it.
It’s only when we lose this ability do we realize how miraculous a simple breath is.
-Lift your hand up. Then wiggle it around. Wow.
    -Stand up and dance. Wow.
    -Taste an orange. Wow.
-Look at the color of a rose. Wow.
    -Smell you lover. Wow
    -Smile at someone. Wow.
    -Touch your face. Wow.
There are universes inside you that communicate, coordinate and come together to make all of that possible. Each moment is a miraculous “Wow”.
So much of life is often spent in the pursuit. Chasing the dream. Trying to get to the mountain top. Seeking and searching. That it can be easy to miss the sheer amazingness of what is here in front of you and who you are right now.
Within you is the seed for everything you seek. Everything. Start there.
The miracle is YOU. You are already abundant. It is all inside you. When you start from that place of acknowledgement for who you are, then you are fulfilled and free before you even begin. This fullness will fuel your actions, your plans, your dreams no longer needing to get somewhere to feel OK. But you live each moment of your life and relationships now as an abundant and overflowing expression of your heart’s gratitude.
It is often said that what you THINK about expands, but also what you THANK about expands. The more you give gratitude for what you have and who you are, the more you open your heart and energy to receive more of the very thing that you are giving gratitude for. So if you want more of something, THANK about it more with all your heart’s feeling and watch the blessings of The Uni-verse flow your way.
During Thanksgiving, it is traditional to give thanks for the blessings in your life and the amazing people that surround you. But also remember to give gratitude for YOU.
    Yes, YOU!!!!!
What do you appreciate about you this year?
You are a magical creation of the Divine.
You are a gift to the world.
You are a living, breathing, miracle!
    Happy Thanks Giving!!
